When you make it back to Victoria, there's a taco place on Yates Street (about 3 blocks up from The Lucky Bar) called Hernandez. I'd recommend checking it out. Oh, and on Hastings in Vancouver - The Mouse & Bean - for the chorizo. Chorizo dobliditas (if that's how it's spelled) from that place - so fine!
I was listening to Elan Vital today and just had to say PGMG should have been on a lot more Best-Of-2006 lists. . . but indie rock criticism isn't what it used to be. Or maybe I'm just reading the wrong blogs.
I was comforted to know Andrea always looks punk rock, even on Christmas with her family!
i haven't heard the shins record. but i haven't been a fan since the first one. actually, i haven't been a fan since i saw them live. just terribly boring live and i think that made me feel the same whenever i listened to their reocords from there on out.
you guys should move to LA so i can see cavesingers more often. your bands are always the opposite of the shins.
